NCAA Softball Rule Change 2026

The NCAA recently approved a timing rule change, changing the previous requirement for the batter and catcher to be in position within 10 seconds to a new timeframe of 12 seconds after the pitcher receives the ball. Here’s how to update your Ready-Ref Timer to the new timing

Model 1145 NCAA Softball Timer

If your serial number is lower than 1108419 but higher than 1100001 (purchased since October 2011), we will convert the timing for $20, plus $13 for return shipping. (If you live in Ohio, there will be an additional $1.45 tax.)

If your serial number is lower than 1100001 (purchased before October 2011), we will replace the circuit board for $50, plus $13 for return shipping. (If you live in Ohio, there will be an additional $3.63 tax.)
